The investor company Elektrownia Skawina s.a. ordered a complete realization of a new SHPP on the shipping channel Laczany-Skawina (built 1955 - 1958) on the river Wisla in South Poland.
This project is characteristic by very challenging structure of intake which has been built up inside the earth dam during the full operation with difference of 12 m water level. Very stable hydrological conditions enable using hydropower potential very efficiently. The total output of this SHPP is 885 kW.

As a general contrator HYDROPOL provided the site complex development, preparation of relevant studies, permitting, project design & engineering services and complete EPC delivery.
