Project review
The HPP Kolin is quite a unique power plant considering its location inside the road bridge structure spanning on the Elbe River in downtown city of Kolin, the central Czech Republic.
The plant is obsolete and the owner seeks uprating, complex rehabilitation and modernization of the facility. The conditions, due to the plant location and very low head (less than 2.5 m) are especially difficult.

HYDROPOL carried out complex site survey, gathered all necessary data and elaborated complete feasibility study. We also delivered permitting of the project.
