Project review
The Winscar reservoir is a major source of potable water for Yorskhire Water, a northern UK utility. Dam height is 53 m and upstream face surface covers approximately 25 000 m2.The dam suffered seepage and other troubles.
Rehabilitation, which included installation of a new upstream geomembrane insulation layer, was desperately needed.
